We waited for the suitcase for two days and then we bought new dresses
یکی از کارهایی که به کمک گذشته ساده میتوان انجام داد، روایت کردن یکی سری اتفاق پشت سر هم و تعریف کردن یک ماجراست.
اجازه بدید چند مثال را زیر را با هم بخوانیم:
“I remember her as a shy girl, but I read she became a manager, she went on lots of trips, she met a lot of new friends, she got married and then she got divorced.”
“We met at 9 in the morning and decided to go to the seven lakes, a very wonderful place not far from the centre of the town: lots of trees, lots of flowers and very fresh air.”
“We waited for the suitcase for two days and then we bought new dresses.”
در زیر چند مثال را بیشتر بررسی میکنیم.
مثال 1:
“I remember her as a shy girl, but I read she became a manager, she went on lots of trips, she met a lot of new friends, she got married and then she got divorced.”
در اینجا میبینیم که گوینده دنبالهای از رویدادهای زندگی فردی خود را از گذشته به ترتیب بیان میکند.
مثال 2:
“We met at 9 in the morning and decided to go to the seven lakes, a very wonderful place not far from the center of the town: lots of trees, lots of flowers and very fresh air.”
در اینجا هم گوینده دنبالهای از رویدادهای مربوط به روزی را که به دریاچهها رفتهاند، روایت میکند.
مثال 3:
“We waited for the suitcase for two days and then we bought new dresses.”
در اینجا گوینده دنبالهای از اتفاقاتی که بعد از گم شدن چمدان افتاده را نقل میکند.
تمرین
جملات زیر را بخوانید، کمی تامل کنید و تلاش کنید با استفاده از گذشته ساده برای ترتیب دادن رویدادهای گذشته کامل کنید:
“First, we _ (arrive) at the airport, then we _ (check) in our luggage.”
“She _ (finish) her homework and then _ (go) to bed.”
“They _ (meet) at a cafe, _ (talk) for hours, and finally __ (say) goodbye.”
جوابهای شما باید چنین باشند:
“First, we arrived at the airport, then we checked in our luggage.”
“She finished her homework and then went to bed.”
“They met at a cafe, talked for hours, and finally said goodbye.”
در نهایت به عنوان تمرین، یک سری فعل زمان گذشته را برای روایت دنبالهای از رخدادها در گذشته بنویسید و آن را کامنت کنید.
we arrived at the airport, then we checked in our luggage
she finished her homework and then went to bed
they met at cafe and finally they said goodbye
