قبلاً نکات و قواعد زیادی را در مورد ضمیرها (pronouns) یاد گرفتیم.
معنی کلمه indefinite را الان نیاز داریم تا با indefinite pronouns یا ضمیرهای بی‌نهایت آشنا شویم: indefinite به معنی بی‌نهایت و بی‌کران است،
این ضمیرها هم به ضمیرهایی مانند everything گفته می‌شود که به همه چیز (یعنی تمام thing ها) اشاره دارند. این ضمیرها می‌توانند به هیچ یا بعضی از آن چیزها هم اشاره داشته باشد: nothing و something
