قبلاً با would یاد گرفتیم که در مورد گذشته صحبت کنیم.

وقتی در گذشته، داریم در مورد آینده صحبت میکنیم، از would استفاده میکنیم.

همچنین برای اشاره یک اتفاق یا عمل در گذشته، از ساختار ‘would have’ + ‘-ed’ استفاده میکنیم.

البته می‌دانیم برای بعضی از افعال (مانند see و give)، این قاعده اضافه کردن پسوند برای ساختن شکل سوم فعل (particle)، صدق نمی‌کند.

جمله اول اگه معلوم باشه که کانتکست چیه و در مورد یادگیری از چی صحبت میکنیم، بهتر میشه
مثلاً The learning from that experience/book
در مورد this جمله بعد هم میشه همین رو گفت.

جمله دوم حال ساده ست. داره میگه فلان جواب زندگی من رو عوض کرد.
فرض کن دو نفر دارن در مورد اتفاقات مهم زندگی شون صحبت میکنن

Maria: Of course!
Sam: Well, I decided to follow it. I got a job as an illustrator for a major publishing company.
Maria: That’s amazing!
Sam: More than well. That answer changed my life.

پس صحبت در مورد یک اتفاقی در گذشته است.
اما جمله اول در مورد یک شرایط فرضی هست
مثلا در دیالوگ زیر صحبت از اینه که اگر فلان کار رو میکردم، زندگیم تغییر میکرد
Maria: Remember that job interview I had last year?
Sam: Yeah, I remember. What about it?
Maria: I didn’t get the job because I didn’t know the answer to their final question.
Sam: That’s tough. Do you think it would have made a big difference?
Maria: Definitely. That answer would have changed my life. If I had known it, I would be working at my dream company right now.

اگر در جمله زیر

حذف بشه معنا چه تغییری میکنه؟

جمله اشتباه میشه. مگه اینکه done رو هم تغییر بدیم به do
I did not think my friend Janis would do that
منظورم این بود که تفاوت
Would have done
با
Whould do
صرفا در اینه که اولی احتمال کمتری داره؟
۱- I did not think my friend Janis would do that
2- I did not think my friend Janis would have done that
اولی در مورد آینده در گذشته است: مثلاً در مورد دیروز که فکر نمیکردیم چنین کاری رو در آینده انجام بده ولی انجام داده
دومی در مورد گذشته (انجام داده است)
اولی در مورد انتظاری هست که داشتم (انتظار ندارم انجام بده)
دومی در مورد کاری هست که انجام شده (انجام داده)
مثلاً من میگم امروز قراره جلسه داشته باشیم. میدونم علیرضا میاد حتما. فرداش میبینم نیومده میگم:
I did not think Alireza would do that (skip the meeting)
یا یه کتابی از کتاب فروشی من گم شده. یکی میگه احتمالاً محمد اینو دزدیده! من میگم
I did not think Mohammad would have done that (stolen the book)
He actually knew what the company should build. I dreamed that one day I would have the skills to
know what we should build.
جمله درستیه مهدی جان. البته know شاید انتخاب درستی نباشه. شاید کلماتی مثل determine یا decide بهتر باشن
اما در هر صورت این مثال برای would درست هست

یه نکته کوچک:
در جمله اول چون کمی قبلتر به This grammar اشاره کردیم به جای those بهتره it بگیم. پس میشه:

سلام، چه تفاوتی با قاعده درس قبل که همین فرمول با

بود دارد؟چه زمانی از این استفاده می شود؟

اگر اشتباه نکنم منظور شما اینه که تفاوت would و should در چی هست
هر دو رو مجزا یاد بگیریم تفاوت اینها هم مشخص میشه اما اگه مسلط نباشیم ممکنه اینطور به نظر برسه که شبیه هم هستن
شباهت این دو اینه که هر دو در مورد امکان و possibilities هستن
یعنی should در مورد اقدام یا رخدادی هست که امکان داره در انجام بدیم: الان یا بعداً
I should do my homework
would در مورد حالتی هست که میتونست اتفاق بیفته
I would have more chance
تفاوت اصلی شون هم این هست که should بیشتر در مورد الزام بیرونی هست
اما would در مورد تمایل درونی
You should do it harder
I would like to come sooner than usual.

هر چهار جمله درست هستن مریم عزیز،
اما جمله دوم و چهارم رو میشه کمی به ساختار این درس نزدیکتر کرد به این شکل:
I remember he wouldn’t eat his vegetables when he was a child
I know he wouldn’t have been so upset if you had told him the truth.
I would be lower if I had a good mentor when I was 15.
You would have been in shape if you had listened to me.

حس میکنم be lower کمی ابهام داره
اما چون منظور شما برام شفاف نیست نمیدونم چه فعلی مناسبتره. شاید better off خوب باشه
جمله دوم هم اگر به این صورت باشه کمی به ساختار این درس نزدیکتره:
I know you would have been in shape if you had listened to me
He said he would have finished the project by now.
If he hadn’t offered his support, she wouldn’t have succeeded.
هر دو جمله درست هستن آرش جان

هر دو جمله درست هستن مهدی جان اما شاید جمله دوم به این شکل باشه به ساختار این درس نزدیکتره

هر چهار جمله درست هستن
البته جمله چهارم کمی از ساختار این درس فاصله داره اما در کل قابل قبول هستش
If I had had enough money, I would have chosen New York over Montreal.

هر دو جمله درست هستن اما اگر دومی به این شکل باشه بهتره:
I thought he wouldn’t be an ideal partner for me, so I canceled my date
یعنی با so یک جمله مرکب بسازیم؛ به جای دو جمله ساده پشت سر هم. در جمله اول با if چنین جمله مرکبی ساخته شده.
