گرامر مبتدی-جمله مرکب با or (یا این، یا آن)
در جملات مرکبی که با and ساختیم، هر دو مورد مدنظرمان بود: هم این، هم آن.
اما به کمک or، فقط یکی از دو مورد، مدنظرمان هست:
I play tennis or I watch TV.
یعنی یا تنیس بازی میکنم، یا تلویزیون.
You don’t say “affirmative” or some shit like that.
اگر بخواهیم بگوییم یا A یا B از or استفاده میکنیم. برای مثال: چایی (A) دوست داری یا قهوه (B).
Do you like tea or coffee?
I don’t go near cheese or milk.
ترکیب جملات با or را یاد گرفتیم. خواهیم دید که ساختن جملات مرکب با or (مانند and) برای جلوگیری از تکرار هم استفاده میشود.
