I didn’t trust him
قبلاً برای بیان جملاتی که در آنها چیزی اتفاق نیفتاده یا حقیقت ندارد از منفی کردن فعلها به دفعات استفاده کرده‌ایم.
“I didn’t realise I had lost the ring till I was at home.”
“I didn’t trust him.”
“[talking about a spare television] We had one in the garage that we did not use.”
هر چقدر سطح زبان ما بهتر می‌شود، با افعال بیشتری و در موقعیتهای متفاوتی تجربه استفاده از منفی کردن فعلها را پیدا می‌کنیم.
برای مثال چند مورد زیر را بخوانید:
“I didn’t realise I had lost the ring till I was at home.”
در اینجا گوینده متوجه نشده که حلقه‌اش را گم کرده تا زمانی که به خانه رسید.
“I didn’t trust him.”
گوینده به او اعتماد نداشت.
“[talking about a spare television] We had one in the garage that we did not use.”
آنها یک تلویزیون اضافی در گاراژ داشتند که از آن استفاده نمی‌کردند.
می‌دانیم که برای افعال کمکی باید از do/does و not یا فرم خلاصه شده آن یعنی ‘don’t/doesn’t’ استفاده کنیم.
تمرین
- جملات زیر را با استفاده از فرم منفی کامل کنید:
“She __ (not/like) broccoli.”
“They __ (not/finish) their homework.”
“He __ (not/know) the answer.”
پاسخ‌ها:
“She does not like broccoli.”
“They did not finish their homework.”
“He does not know the answer.
she didn’t like
they didn’t finish
he didn’t know
“فرم منفی برای بیان جملاتی استفاده می‌شود که در آنها چیزی اتفاق نیفتاده یا حقیقت ندارد.
این فرم با استفاده از فعل کمکی ‘do/does’ و ‘not’ یا فرم اختصاری ‘don’t/doesn’t’ ساخته می‌شود.”
این گرامر مربوط به زمان گذشته ساده می باشد و باید از did ,did not برای منفی
و سوالی کردن استقاده شود که احتمالا در اشتباه توضیح داده شده است .البته مثالها هم اشتباه میباشد.
We did not know that why they left the meeting early.
The baby didn’t cry when the doctor administered the vaccine.
I didn’t say anything.
They didn’t buy a bicycle for their son.
She doesn’t give her friend time to explain further.
They crossed the red flag, and they didn’t even apologize for that.
I didn’t go up on the roof to help him clean up the trash.
He didn’t let me throw out this outdoor light sconce.
We didn’t have any spare pot to plant the seeds in.
She lied to me about her past relationships.
