گرامر مبتدی-صفت ملکی
گفتیم ضمیر ضمیر، اشاره دارد به یک اسم. همچنین به سه دسته ضمیر مهم در زبان انگلیسی اشاره کردیم: ضمیر فاعلی (I)، مفعولی(me)، ملکی (mine).
به جز ضمیرهای ملکی، صفت ملکی هم داریم که مانند هر صفت دیگری، قبل از اسم میآید (نه به جای آن):

برای مثال، اگر بخواهیم بگوییم این گربه، گربه من است، می گوییم this cat is my cat. اما this cat is mine یعنی گربه مال من است.
چون my قبل از اسم cat آمده، یک صفت است اما mine به جای اسم آمده بنابراین یک ضمیر است.
در ادامه چند نمونه جمله میبینیم:

Hawaii (= it) is famous for its beaches.

In the last example of mine, i should change “grandfather” to “grandfathers”
Or if i dont want to change it i can change “are” to “is” .
